Since March of 2020! * We mobilized to raise over $100,000 through donations and grants * We have worked with local community advocates to identify needs. * We have made $300 cash cards available to 312 of our neighbords!

A lot has happened…

In response to the pandemic, members of Elevate Mason County mobilized to raise and distribute funds to neighbors excluded from federal relief because of their immigration status. We all need and deserve neighbors who care about our well-being, especially in times of crisis. We built partnerships with community advocates at CIELO, Sound Learning and local Schools who have deep connections to this area and who directly serve the community.

With their support to identify recipients, we distributed $300 cash cards to 312 individuals and families since March 2020 through donations and grants!

By following the leadership of advocates with intimate knowledge of our community, we were able to center the needs of our immigrant and refugee neighbors who have been left out of federal COVID-19 relief including unemployment benefits, SNAP and stimulus checks.

We intend to continue building on this network of support! Our emergency funds have all been funneled out into our community, please consider donating today and help us keep this unprecedented mutual aid project going!
